What is the early access sale?
From 8:00 a.m. January 21, 2026 – 5:00 p.m. January 31, 2026 (Arizona time), permits for campground and the lodge will be available for a premium fee.
- Campground permit fee: $455 + $40 early access fee per person for a 3-night reservation.
- Lodge permit fee: $2,277 + $160 early access fee (covers up to 4 people) for a 3-night reservation.
Who is eligible to participate in the early access sale?
Anyone with an active account at www.havasupaireservations.com.
When is the early access sale?
From 8:00 a.m. January 21, 2026 – 5:00 p.m. January 31, 2026 (Arizona time). Permits for campground and the lodge will be available by paying an early access fee when you purchase your permits.
How much do permits cost during the early access sale?
- Campground permit fee: $455 + $40 early access fee per person
- Lodge permit fee: $2,277 + $160 early access fee (for up to 4 people)
Are the reservations refundable if I change my mind?
Cancellations made at least 90 days before the first day of your reservation start date will receive a 50% refund (excludes early access fee if applicable).
Cancellations made within 90 days of the first day of your reservation may still be made; however, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
Can I transfer my reservation?
No. The Tribe strictly prohibits the resale or transfer of permits.
What if I do not want to pay the early access fee?
Permits go on sale at the regular rate on February 1, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. (Arizona time) Campground permits will be $455 per person for a 3-night reservation, lodge permits will be $2,277 (for up to 4 people) for a 3-night reservation.
How many permits can I purchase?
Up to 12 permits for the campground and up to 3 rooms (4 people per room) for the lodge.
What if I can’t make the trip after I’ve made the reservation?
The Havasupai Tribe strongly encourages the naming of a Potential Alternative Trip Leader (PATL) when making a reservation. PATLs can only be added at the time the reservation is made. Please note that the reservation holder IS NOT required to be there at check-in as long as one of the listed PATL checks in and presents proper identification.
