HAVASUPAI LODGE RESERVATIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You are responsible for reading and understanding all of the information on this page before making a reservation.
RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS
By making a Havasupai Lodge reservation you (the person making the reservation), and anyone else on the reservation or related reservation(s) (if applicable), acknowledge and agree to fully abide by the Havasupai Lodge Reservation Requirements, the Havasupai Visitor Conduct Conditions and the Havasupai Tourism Code regulations, including as stated below.
Reservations and accounts are required for all Havasupai visitors, including those staying at the Havasupai Lodge.
All visits to Havasupai and Havasu Falls require a reservation made prior to arrival.
Havasupai Lodge reservations must be booked in advance and can only be booked on HavasupaiLodge.com. Reservations from any other source or provider are not valid.
Lodge reservations, accounts, account holders and all members of a reservation party are subject to the full terms and conditions as referenced in these Terms and Conditions and on HavasupaiLodge.com.
Havasupai Lodge reservations are paid in full at the time of booking and once booked are final. There are no refunds under any conditions or circumstances, so once a payment method has been charged, no funds can or will be returned. Review order details carefully prior to making a purchase. After a Lodge reservation has been finalized and paid for, no further changes can be made.
Reservations cannot be changed or transferred once booked, with the exception of, and limited to, only two specific conditions: 1) an approved Transfer System transaction, or 2) an internal transfer to a PATL (Potential Alternate Trip Leader).
People included on your reservation may reimburse you for up to the face value cost of their spot on your reservation.
Reselling reservations and soliciting reservations, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited, and punishable to the strictest extent under the Havasupai Tourism regulations. A reservation is a limited license that does not include private resale or purchase for greater than face value cost, and does not include public resale or purchase of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, any or all public facilitating, brokering, offering, or responding to requests for reservations, in whole or in part, on any platform. Penalties include, but are not limited to, the entire reservation being canceled with no refund, and a permanent ban from Havasupai.
Lodge reservation pricing is per room and includes all necessary permits, fees, and taxes for all members of the reservation party. A Lodge room reservation may include up to 4 people in total.
There is only one name on a Lodge reservation, and a reservation is only valid if the person named on the reservation (i.e. the Trip Leader / reservation holder) is present upon check-in at the Grand Canyon Caverns with valid photo ID, otherwise the reservation is not valid and will not be honored. Each reservation must have a unique trip leader.
Trip Leaders must bring a printed copy of their Lodge reservation confirmation (a screen shot of it or a copy viewable via electronic device is acceptable). Additionally, write down (or take a photo of) your vehicle's license plate number parked at the trailhead, it will need to be produced upon check in.
After checking in following the current check-in procedures and having received all wristbands you are permitted to drive to the Hualapai Hilltop Trailhead via Indian Road 18 and park in the permitted visitor parking areas, hike along approved trails to the Village of Supai, stay in the lodge, hike to/from the lodge, and enjoy the tourist permitted areas of the creek and waterfalls (Fifty Foot Falls, Little Navajo Falls, and Havasu Falls) as well as past the Campground to Mooney Falls and Beaver Falls.
If a Trip Leader knows beforehand that they will be unable to be present at check-in, or ends up with extra rooms on their reservation that will be unused, he or she may use the Havasupai Lodge Transfer System here at HavasupaiLodge.com to transfer one, some, or all of the rooms on their reservation, either directly to a PATL (Potential Alternate Trip Leader) or via the public Cancellation / Transfer List. All reservations are otherwise non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.
A PATL (Potential Alternate Trip Leader) is someone who is eligible to have a reservation transferred directly to them using the official Transfer System, most commonly for the purpose of substituting for the original Trip Leader / reservation holder. The PATL list can be edited in the account at any time. However, once a reservation has been purchased, no further changes can be made to the PATL list for that reservation. This means that once a transfer to a PATL has been completed, there is no further opportunity for future PATL transfers.
A PATL is not permitted to check-in independently of the Trip Leader. Only the Trip Leader can check in his or her reservation party. Only a PATL who has a reservation transferred to him or her can check in their reservation party because they will have become the new official Trip Leader.
All visitors (even if they are not a Trip Leader or a PATL) must have an account here on HavasupaiLodge.com created prior to arrival. All members of a Lodge reservation party must have an account in order to be able to be verified and identified as legitimately visiting on Havasupai lands.
All visitors must have proof of their account (a printout or screenshot of their account information page), proof of their Lodge reservation (a printout or screenshot of the Lodge reservation that they are visiting under), their photo ID, and wristband available at all times while on Havasupai lands (which includes the entrance road via Indian Road 18 and the Hualapai Hilltop trailhead / parking area).
Lodge reservations are only valid on and between the arrival and departure dates listed on the reservation. Reservations are subject to all Rules and Laws of Havasupai, including the inspection of all people, baggage, and vehicles at the security checkpoint upon entering and exiting Havasupai land. Visiting the Havasupai Reservation outside of these arrival and departure dates is considered trespassing and is a violation of Havasupai Laws and Visitor Rules.
Reservations, permits, and access during the dates listed on a reservation may be revoked with or without notice at any time. Lodge reservations may be cancelled by the Havasupai Tribe for any reason, at any time, and without recourse.
A reservation party should stay together at all times and never hike alone. Hike only on permitted trails and do not take side canyons or explore areas off the main trails. Pay attention for and adhere to "unstable ground" warning signs.
The residential areas and trails of the Village of Supai are restricted areas, and photos of Havasupai people and their homes and property are not permitted. Respecting the privacy of Tribal members is required and appreciated.
The following are not permitted: alcohol, drugs, smoking, drones, amplified music, littering, nudity, jumping, diving, climbing, fishing, hunting, horses, dogs, pets, animals, wagons, carts, bikes, vehicles, fires, fireworks, firearms, weapons, water guns, boats, rafts, kayaks, paddle boards, inner tubes, pool floats, pool toys, styrofoam, filming or photography for commercial purposes, taking photos of Havasupai people or property, and anything else that may be hazardous or discourteous. Proper attire is required, please dress appropriately. Gas canister backpacking cooking stoves are ok, but all other types of flame/fire are NOT permitted.
Visitors may be checked upon exiting Havasupai to ensure they have taken all of their gear and trash back out with them.
ALL visitors are required to read, understand, and agree to the Rules and Laws that their visit is conditioned upon.
Any violation of any Rule or Law may result in immediate termination of all permits for everyone included on all related reservations, and may also result in additional consequences, including, but not limited to, possible fines and a ban on future visits.
The Havasupai Reservation is Tribal land and Tribal laws apply. State laws do not apply.
Possession, distribution, or consumption of alcohol anywhere within the boundaries of the Havasupai Reservation (which also includes the Hilltop trailhead parking area) is a Tribal and Federal crime, punishable by up to one year of imprisonment. 18 U.S.C. §§ 1154 and 1156.
