Pack Mule Bag Requirements
- One Pack Mule can carry up to 4 bags.
- Maximum weight: 32 pounds per bag.
- Maximum baggage size: 36 inches long, 19 inches wide, 19 inches tall.
- Maximum size and weight limits are strictly enforced.
- All baggage must be soft-sided with nothing hanging off the outside.
- Many people put their backpacks into a duffel bag for extra protection.
- Ice chests/coolers are NOT permitted.
Note that a pack mule booking cannot be split across different days. Pack mule bookings are only valid for dates in and out booked. Pack mules are booked for one mule for a specific day. If part of your group leaves early, then they have to pay for another pack mule booking for a new day.
For Confirmed Pack Mule Bookings
Each bag should be clearly labeled with the following information:
- Pack Mule Booking Confirmation Code
- Tourist Full Name
- Booking Dates
Pack Mule Drop-Off Times
INBOUND: Drop off 4am-9am at Hualapai Hilltop. Bags typically arrive at the bottom of the canyon between the hours of 2-5pm.
OUTBOUND: Drop off bags by 6am to be taken to Hualapai Hilltop.
