Tourists can now ride a horse from Supai Village to Hilltop, depending on availability. Bookings must be requested at the Tourism Office in Supai ahead of your departure date. A minimum of 48 hours in advance is recommended. Reservation confirmation is based on availability.
Cost is $200 per person, one person per horse. Prior riding experience is required. The trail is 8 miles of rough terrain with no stops, and can take 2-4 hours depending on the rider. Note: Horses can only be reserved going out on your departure day. Horses cannot be reserved going in.
Tourists may only bring small items like a daypack, water, camera, etc. when riding the horse. You will need to make alternate arrangements for the transportation of your additional gear.
Confirmed bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable. Reselling of reservations (in whole or in part) is strictly prohibited. The tribe is not responsible for pack arrangements made outside of the official reservation system.
